about

MamaLanguage

Nowadays, people have a ton of opportunity to move nearly freely around the world and from this freedom of movement people are forming beautiful and wonderful families. Many of those are living away from their home country as well.

Nevertheless, families want to preserve their home language but also want their children to integrate and fully participate as members of the community they live in.

MamaLanguage was born from the desire to build a bridge between children and their parents' languages. Or maybe an elected language that you as a family want to give to your child from a very early age.

As a parent reading this you will already appreciate the importance of language as part of one's identity. However, the main challenge facing dual-language families is finding good, up-to-date information and appropriate resources when raising bilingual children.

We, at MamaLanguage also agree that bilingualism should be celebrated and positively promoted so we want to give all the tools necessary for kids and their parents to succeed in their journey towards first and second language acquisition.

We are great at empathising with parents, and know children need access to a range of original and user-friendly content with no ads, enabling them to celebrate their mother tongue. It doesn’t matter where that language comes from; mother, father, grandparents, or even a brand new second language.

MamaLanguage provides resources and content developed by linguists with extensive experience in children's language acquisition; educators with in-depth knowledge of how little ones learn best, and artists that understand how fun and exciting visuals can be for children.

All these combined features are key to keep children interested, focused and excited.

We are unique in what we do because a passion for languages brought us together to build something that we love, using all the skills we possess.

The result is MamaLanguage and we hope you and your family will love it too.

We believe that the children of today, who engage in learning multiple languages will be more loving and tolerant as a result of experiencing diversity of cultures through language.

And at the end of this wonderful journey together, we will have contributed to enriching the lives of our children, transforming them in to true world-citizens, surely making our blue planet a better place.
